Well poop!
Sep. 3rd, 2012 08:36 pmFive years of Warcraft and never getting hacked. Until now.
My poor characters, left in undies and tabards. At least Blizzard are quick to get going once I sent in my ticket. Just running all my scans before applying to get it turned back over to me.
But in good news Digger won the Best Graphic Story Hugo. Yay!

The Order of the Stick Reprint Drive!
Starting off to get just one of his books back in print, with sixteendays to go so much OotS stuff is going to get reprinted, with a whole heap of rewards. As of now it's at $451,320!
I threw in $37 (plus $10 for international shipping) to get the first book, as that's been on my to buy list for ages. Which means I end up with:
A copy of Dungeon Crawlin' Fools
A Roy magnet
7 PDF mini stories
A OotS notepad
STICKERS!!!!!
Colouring book with Thog and Elan (just a couple hundred to reach this one!)
And if you've never heard of Order of the Stick before you need to get your backside over here!
PUT THE BUNNY BACK IN THE BOX
Sep. 30th, 2011 09:13 pmBecause of
fandomsecrets I have been catching up on Homestuck. How Do I Live is now playing in the background as I read in wonder. Even if certain plot developments caused some rage. ( Spoilers and Rage )
Why are we getting our summer at the end of September? That's just wrong!

Awesome Wombats!

Aw man, Digger finished when I wasn't looking.
It has a down to earth female sentient wombat as the protagonist. If I haven't gotten you at wombat (and if not what is wrong with you? WOMBAT!) it also has a whole wide range of awesome characters, most of them female, an epic story, gorgeous art, humour, and oracular slugs.
The scans_daily Digger tag has a cross section of the awesome. Then go and read from the start. Do it. WOMBAT!
Go go BBC budget CGI!
Nov. 7th, 2010 05:32 pmA problem with yesterday's Merlin trying to paint the manticore as scary evil is all I could keep thinking about was this.
( Cut for size. And AWWWWWWWW! )

Aug. 17th, 2010 09:17 pmIo9 proves some use in hooking me up with webcomics. Especially webcomics starring adorably cute 2000 year old, High School Musical fanatical manticores.

Darwin Carmichael is Going to Hell

The Star Trek reboot was just missing one thing. Luckily there is this handy webcomic to fill the sparkly gap.

Also an excuse to post this genius. Sigh, I would totally wear that shirt.

Again I am years behind everyone else, I have just come across the Ten Doctors. Though at least that does mean I have pages and pages and pages to keep me busy for a while as I catch up.
His Four is particularly spot on. In his full terrifying glory.

Things I only just find out about.
Oct. 22nd, 2009 04:27 pmHaving enjoyed DM of the Rings (what if Lord of the Rings was a Dungeons and Dragons-esque campaign? Answer is absolute hilarity) and the more traditional webcomic the Order of the Stick, why have I only just discovered that there is a Star Wars version Darths and Droids?
It's probably sad that the plot to this makes more sense than the Star Wars prequels.
These webcomics always tempt me to try the old fashioned role playing games, though the math involved always scares me. With World of Warcraft you just have to mash the keyboard to kill things.
