Well, technically 100,000 as this includes the fists part that was done in 2004.

Its a NaNoWriMo Wordle! )

Now what do I do?
bibliodragon: (Thumper)

50010 / 50000 words. 100% done!

I DID IT! Yay!

Damn thing is still not finished though, but I suppose that gives me something to do for next years NaNo.

I need to go lie down now.
bibliodragon: (Bunnies)
Top secret spoilers! )

47008 / 50000 words. 94% done!
Sooooo close! Must...not...self...sabotage!
bibliodragon: (Kuzco)
...and it's only from yesterday as I got nothing done today. Oh ok, I did some real life stuff, made a horse head out of clay at art group, went to therapy and the sibling came around. Oh, and I spent far too long running around a virtual forest killing 40 virtual turkeys in a row (and only got it on a third attempt so it was probably more like 80).

But no writing. Hopefully will get lots done tomorrow.

41014 / 50000 words. 82% done!
bibliodragon: (Chip n Dale)
Oh Merlin, you and your anachronisms.

Charity things are often pretty dire but this got a grin from me. Plus, they also showed the Doctor Who Christmas Special teaser.

Official Nano Word Count

36507 / 50000 words. 73% done!
bibliodragon: (Haku) here is a word count update because I want to see what my percentage is.

32086 / 50000 words. 64% done!

64% woo. I need to go sleep now.

I quite liked that. )

Oh, and Nano update. Today was a good day.

28025 / 50000 words. 56% done!

4000 words! If you're running out of things to say, just have a squirrel approach your main character and try to sell him stuff.
bibliodragon: (Bambi)
Words are driving me crazy so here is some Courage Wolf.

24009 / 50000 words. 48% done!
bibliodragon: (Kuzco)

22001 / 50000 words. 44% done!

Things are getting a bit harder now, I've reached the stage where I've noticed that everything I write is crap and that I should just give up now. But I still managed to get out another 2000 words today, hopefully I'll continue to get out another 2000 words of crap a day until I get through this stage.

Actual plot has come to a complete stop, even though it is supposed at this spot but here I'm supposed to get some exposition out and I just can't seem to allow myself to info dump. Thank god for an unsympathetic Welsh pony with wings for some entertaining main character abusing.
bibliodragon: (Adult Bambi)

17007 / 50000 words. 34% done!

Managed 3000 today. That's good. But didn't do anything yesterday. That's bad.
bibliodragon: (Dinky)

12043 / 50000 words. 24% done!

Hoping to add another 2000 words to that today. Even though I'm getting tired.
bibliodragon: (Bunny Sisters)
I had forgotten how stressful it is watching this show. )

Nano goes well. I'd forgotten how much fun it is when I reach that crazy stage where characters start doing surprising things as if I'm not the one in control of the keyboard.

On the Nano front...

and now I'm very tired.

The counter for my NaNo has gone down. Now how will I know how much I haven't written?

(In word count news, managed the daily minimum and now hoping to get another 500 to bring it up to 4000 words total and almost 5% done, woo!)
bibliodragon: (Nuka)

A "Previously on..." makes great word count padding.

Edited to add that I'm over the daily target of 1667 and that's with me still on the "previously" bit!
bibliodragon: (Dinky)
Managed to transfer the old stuff over so I could actually read it today. Old Nano was just as full of crack as I remember, I had to resist editing as I read it (oh God so much wandering point of view!) but I think I'm ready for tomorrow!

Just need lots of sugar and tea and away I go.
bibliodragon: (Bambi)
Things on today's list of easy things that should have been done but haven't: put 2004's NaNoWriMo on the flash drive and stick it onto the current pc so I can look over it, so when I continue it I know where I'm starting from. That does not bode well. Only two days to go. November is going to consist of me bitching about not reaching my word count, I can tell.

In other news, now you too can get RPattz in your pants! Those may be a joke item, but should people be giving the Twilight merchandising people any ideas?
bibliodragon: (Dinky)

No idea if I'll actually make it, I'm struggling with just getting out a paragraph a day just now, let alone 1667 words a day. But I've figured out how to end my 2004 story (actually won that year) and it would be nice to actually have something finished.

Granted, it'll need extensive editing to make both halves fit, due to plotlines getting added and dropped, and characters having sex changes.
