I like reading. I have my favorite genres and authors, but if there is absolutely nothing else to do I am not picky and will read anything. Sometimes I'll just skim through, or not really pay attention, or I'll spend the whole time thing "wow these people suck, I hope they all die horribly", though it would have to really, *really* piss me off for me to fling it to the other side of the room and never want to read it again.
And sometimes it will suck me in, and I'll sit and read and not resurface until it's finished. And if it's not possible to read it in one sitting, or it has really done a spectacular job of capturing my attention, I'll skip ahead to the end and read a bit of the end.
Yes, even books are not immune to my spoiler whore ways. But I only do this with things I like, no, adore, something that has succeeded in making me want to know what will happen next right now.
So, that's a long way of saying I'm going to talk a little bit about the Battlestar Galactica finale, despite still not having actually seen it.
( God )( Laura Roslin ) So, Battlestar Galactica. It *was* a good ride, flaws and all.
( Anyway, here's a cat eating broccoli. )
