Law and Order: UK
Apr. 7th, 2009 12:50 pmNo more Law and Order until ITV decide to show the rest of it (there's talk of Autumn). Still, ITV has so little new drama I suppose they need to space it out amongst repeats of A Touch of Frost and Inspector Morse.
I've been enjoying this, completely unrealistic of course. And not having seen the original much beyond knowing the basic format and the doink doink it's use of adapted US scripts was not an issue. I like the law side the most, though it was a bit discording to have what usually happens over two hours in other British crime drama happen in half an hour. Which means that the cops don't have time for all the angst and inappropriate relationships and actually *gasp* seem to like each other. Though the order side has grown on me, to the extent that I've gotten quite fond of James Steele and his stupid big noble face. And it has Martha off Doctor Who.
( Spoilers for 'Alesha' )
Sigh, now just have to wait for "series 2" to eventually show up.
