It's the new Doctor Who logo! And my first response is yay blue! Now we have to wait and see if Moffat can't resist the retro appeal of Matt Smith's face terrifying us in the credit sequence. Even though they obviously couldn't help themselves and had to add some lens flare to it.

Though speaking of photoshop, my response to this monstrosity was "ARRRGGGG!! Who let Rob Liefeld at the photoshop?!"

To clense you're eyeballs of that horror, here is Mark Carwardine getting shagged by a kakapo while Stephen Fry laughs.

The sheer joy on the kakapo's face is adorable.

That Ralph Lauren ad is really the next Doctor Who monster.

And Doctor Who was never the same once it went to colour ;). While I liked his individual episodes I do wonder how Moffat will handle show running and the overall series, but now you'll get to join in on the traditional Doctor Who pass time of "it was better when...".

Aw, it sucks he only did one series. At the time I wasn't being fair to him because he wasn't Paul McGann, but towards the end of the series I thought he really clicked with the character.

I love Eccles, he rocked the boundary between seriousness and amusement that Tennant didn't seem to get till a little of season 3 with Simm, but mostly season 4 with Tate.

Tennant was at his best with Donna, though the writing when he was with Rose and Martha didn't do him any favours, annoying and smug with Rose and then inconsiderate to Martha. Ten and Donna were great, then the ending spoiled it. RTD you bastard!

I think the ending to what was a really cheesy finale - the Rose/Ten bits made me want to kill myself - made me cry. It was very powerful, and its something that was so beautiful.

Oh, it made me cry like a baby, it just pissed me off too :). He had all that time to give Rose her own pocket Doctor instead of at least trying to come up with a better solution to Donna.
