A Shaz Love Picspam.

It is still far too long until the next series of Ashes to Ashes will be shown, especially after such an evil cliffhanger. Curse you British television system!

DVDs help a little. And rewatching is certainly interesting knowing how things play out, spotting all the little moments and hidden scary clown I missed first time around. But this has also even more firmly cemented my love for Shaz. All the characters are great, but I have developed a soft spot for her. So, picspam!



Here is where we first meet Shaz, and she immediately offers compassion to a very confused, newly arrived Alex. And she offers her her Tab!


Then Gene is mean to her. Bad Gene!


Shaz after Ray has said something stupid and sexist. At the beginning she just looks upset, but later on she gets better at standing up for herself.


Good lord, who is that foxy New Romantic? Shaz out of uniform.


And she's convinced Chris to wear make up!


Back at work, Shaz gets to do exciting work like typing!


And talking on the radio!


But Shaz gets to show her worth going after a suspect.


Pity that doesn't go so well.


But she gets better. Yay!


Series two, and on a shallow note Shaz's bowl cut has grown out into a nice bob.


Chris shows his love with a very post modern moment.

I know, I was so happy that she was up and about at the end of the series one finale, I was worried the writers were going to be "edgy and gritty" and off her.

Hee, I love that moment. I know the whole thing is totally ridiculous, but I don't care, I was just so glad they didn't go the "Chris redeems himself then tragically gets killed" route. Plus Shaz in a wedding dress with a gun is awesome!

Yeah, at the start I thought she was just going to be an Annie replacement, but as it went on she completely won me over.
