My heart! My poor little broken heart! I knew George was leaving, but so soon!
As death goes, it works. Even if it lacked the build up of Mitchell's, but it was due to cast moving on so it gets leeway. Same with Nina's (Nina!) beaten to death off camera, but the effect that had on George and Annie was believable and had enough oomph.
Annie! Annie Annie Annie! I love Annie, and really do hope she doesn't get overshadowed by the new characters. She's the only original left, so it's fair she finally gets the attention she deserves! And even when she gets made to hold the incompetent ball to make the plot work (rationalising it, yes, I know, her thing is not that she isn't powerful but she believes she is weak, but you'd have though she'd have learned enough in the past to not go down so easily!). No more of that, please! I love how she promised she'd go back for the poor dead social worker, even though she was chasing down the baby.
And baby in the dog carrier. That was evilly hilarious in amongst the drama. Though I am a bit disappointed we didn't get werewolf puppy, but then again the show doesn't have the budget to pull that off. Without the right camera angles and cutting the werewolf costumes look ropey enough as is.
It is very much a new show. With baby messiah plots. And time shenanigans, hmm. So far it seems interesting, though I do miss miss my undead OT3. Reunion time pls when Annie moves on!
