Doctor Who has been back for two weeks now, and despite enjoying it I'm finding it hard to talk about.


Mysteries. Oh God, I have come to dislike them. All these intriguing elements that are promised to be explained, then it turns out to be lol God! The British system is kinder to this sort of storytelling, and Moffat has pulled it off before, though that means there's always the worry about expectations getting higher and higher until they are only met with disappointment. It will happen, the thing to see is if he can keep it going until he leaves or it falls before then.

Then there is the concern over the upcoming great fucking big cliffhanger and a Summer break. Fucking cliffhangers, especially when they have a season of build up behind them.

My angst is all BSG's fault! Stupid God.




But good news, I do love River Song now!
