Those points weren't my fault! Abby Evens was chucking her boyfriend right in the middle of the street after finding out he had been having a thing with Emily from the hairdressers and the postman, and had flung all his stuff out and was about to set it on fire, and by the time the police had come by I would have been late for work.
(Okay, not a problem, just a wave of the Sonic Screwdriver at the DVA database.)

(He had just finished changing all uses of the words "abrasive personality" to "forceful" and was trying to think up another way to big up those filling skills again, impressive when you stopped to consider that he had less than a second before he had to hide his tampering and suffer through his head being introduced to the desk.
"Hello Roz. Ow! You know, that's really painful."
"That is the general idea!"
"You look good! And I was only able to see for a microsecond before you slammed my head into a desk. Did you do something to your hair?"
"Shut up!"
"You're not still sore about that whole Dalek invasion thing, are you? My way did work out, after all, granted with a distinct lack of explosions."
"Shut up!"
"Ow!")
