“Still night. Not time to get up yet.”
“I don’t think I could if I had to. Though I see someone is.”
“Feeling better?”
“Have to be. I have a meeting first thing.”
“You could always have Tory reschedule.”
“Not going to happen, Admiral. Worse scenario, the Quorum can just squeeze themselves in here.”
“Not in the bed. I’d have to kick all their asses.”
“Hmm. “
“I’m a jealous man.”
“Hmm.”
“Laura? Are you awake?”
“I can’t keep my eyes open.”
“Don’t worry. Hey, I still have hands.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Shh. Just go to sleep.”
