At the beginning of the ep, and River's reaction to Rory, and I am thinking "aw Gawd, so that spoiler is true then, bleh."

Oh, the grand reveal at the end was well acted, but I'm afraid my thoughts on that are still "I don't like it." The whole fun of Doctor/River was it was basically ripping of the Time Traveler's Wife without the ickiness and more Alex Kingston. Do I trust Steven Moffat to be able to sidestep that? Not really. Doesn't mean he won't though. Wait and see time.

He's not nearly as good at the Gay Agenda as RTD. More a sense of "look, gays!" rather than RTD's subtle way of just tossing the references in there as if they were normal, gasp! I know, someone being less subtle than RTD. But come on, the Gay Anglican getting beheaded by the evil monks? Oh Steven.

I was most excited to see that the rumoured title for the next episode was true. LOL, killing Hitler.

I had heard about the daughter but not the time lord, I didn't like the daughter idea as personally I don't think Amy is nearly cool enough to have spawned River, that and I didn't want her to be THAT young when she met the doctor! 3 times now he's done the "imprinting on the child thing". Which is a little creepy. I mean would you want to have sex with someone you first talked to when they were a baby? That said I did think the reveal was done very well and they acted the hell out of it and I think there are still a LOT of explanations forth coming!

Yeah, when you think about it it is a tad icky. And when you think of all the 4 times he's done it, the 3 of them who are female ended up snogging him, even more so.
