The abandoned town of Pripyat is tragically fascinating, and ever since seeing this collection of photographs from it I've always wondered what it would be like to actually see it in person.

Those pictures are really amazing. I wonder if the money from any tourism that is generated will go to the victims of the disaster.

I would like to hope so, there are so many people who suffered from it, though my cynicism has doubts. Even a percentage donated to the Chernobyl charities.
