Actually, I did get won over by their really sweet origin video.

The opening ceremony is going to be endearingly rubbish in that special British way, I can tell. But then I suppose the only way to follow China's frighteningly coordinated show of impressiveness is to not even try.

They've got a bit of Cybertech about them. OMG, it's all part of a plan by the Cybermen to upgrade the world, and the opening ceremony will be a big battle before the Doctor does his cheesy run and then lights the torch, since Fear Her got eaten by the Crack!
