Laura turned away from the reunion before her, tucking back her windswept hair. "You were later than I expected," though it was said with a smile.
"Lee's a stubborn bastard at the best of times. It's hard to get him moving the right way when I can't just yell at him." Sending a puff of smoke into the clean air, Kara sat down beside her. "It took so many animals chasing him just to get him here."
"Subtlety, Kara. It does work."
They continued to watch in happy silence, then Kara turned to her.
"Want to go mess with Baltar?"
