Ashes to Ashes series one really stands up to re-watching.

I'm continuing to enjoy it even more second go around.

It's also causing me to ponder the strong reaction Alex caused, and all the stick she got. Part of that was probably double standards, Sam could be an obnoxious prat at times too, but I wonder if it is also in part due to the end of Life on Mars, where everything is revealed as a coma dream of Sam's. For me I was a bit disappointed in it. Oh, it worked and made sense, and did not just come out of nowhere (*cough* take note bsg writers, you were just out-written by the people who came up with Bonekickers), but I didn't like the fact that that would mean that everyone else were just figments of his imagination. I know, that's silly considering it is a tv show and they are not real anyway.

Then Ashes to Ashes comes along, and there's Alex calling everyone imaginary constructs and wiggling her fingers and so confident that it's all not real, effectively rubbing it in that these awesome characters everyone loves are not even real in the world of the show.

Then in the series finale the uncertainty came back, and it looks like the coma world is the past and is real, or as real as a tv show can be. And that was awesome!

In other news, I am amused to see that Edward James Olmos also writes BSG finale fix it fan fic.

The ending of both Ashes to Ashes finale's rocked my world, and the LoM world.

I want to read EJO's script. Think he also writes PWP?

I bet half his script is a/r sex scene flashbacks.

If it makes it so everyone doesn't die a painful death out in the wilds and has lots of Laura in a way that makes sense (hell, I'd let magic poofing back into existence in a majic viper slide but then I am biased) he can do all the wall painting and vomiting he wants.

LMAO

I would settle for Laura as a ghost. Or Head!Laura. I think Head!Laura would be amazing.

HeadLaura would be quite scary (and awesome).
