Ficlet: Defending the Line
Even though I couldn't fit this one into an
ar_drabbles challenge, here's another sequel to Drawing the Lines and Crossing the Line. Another day at grade school Galactica.
Title: Defending the Line
Author:
bibliodragon
Rating: Gen
Spoilers: None
Word Count: 100
Of all the postings for a rainy recess, the kindergartners were the worst. Surrounded by whining kids, Billy was grateful that Laurie was there too. Not that he would tell her. Lee was far to familiar with him to listen to him, and anyway he was sulking over Kara ditching him for Sammy as her best friend.
"Just punch him."
"Billy Adama, that's not the way you're supposed to solve arguments!" She could move quietly, even when one of them had attached himself to her. "He's little Billy. He's a better Billy than you."
Then Kara tipped paint over Saul.
