(In all seriousness, it would be nice to see a win, and not just because the media would then stop whining. But then we get the overconfident bragging until the next loss. Damn. Stupid media.)

I've been endeared by Slovenia, I have to admit. Mostly because they're a tiny country and they've never done so well before in the World Cup and that's kinda cute, you know? So I am torn between that and a certain sympathy for English friends. Football has many hard choices, alas.

Hearing more about Slovenia, like how they took a day off for a picnic and that their big goal is to get in the last 16, I do hope they get through. And they've actually managed to score some goals.
