For the past month or so I have been doing something both productive and that got me out of the house, a photography and darkroom course. Very beginner stuff, but I have been having a great time. And I have fallen absolutely in love with making photo prints the old fashioned way! Unfortunately I can't afford to turn my cupboard into a darkroom, and my mother would probably be pissed at having to find somewhere else to put the vacuum cleaner, but hopefully there will be more classes I can take in the future.

Thank you. Annoyingly I was only just starting to get the hang of the camera near the end, so some of the pictures came out more fuzzy than I intended.

I love the old fashioned prints, they have something that often seems to be lacking in digital stuff.

There really is. It's something about the feel of B&W photos when you look at them. Almost like they're in stone or something. I dunno. lol.

Yeah, and there's something a bit timeless about them, like they could have been taken decades ago. Which was I was having fun taking photos of distinctly modern stuff :).

There's also something about watching the picture form in the developing fluid, though that would usually be followed by me thinking oh shit, it's not supposed to be that dark/blurry/squint!
